Without removing the string and without the aid of a bow press, separate and lock open the bow string while you install center servings, peeps, and silencers. Sturdy aluminum construction will not damage strings. SOUTH SHORE ARCHERY SUPPLY NOTE! WE ADVISE YOU TO ALWAYS USE A BOWPRESS TO RELIEVE THE PRESSURE ON THE STRING PRIOR TO ATTEMPTING TO SEPARATE THE FIBERS. THE HIGH POSSIBLILITY OF DAMAGING YOUR STRING IS POSSIBLE EVEN WITH THIS TOOL.
